Wednesday 26th April was the Hedgehogs first trip to Forest Schools and what a wonderful time we had! The children had plenty of new activities to try including making wands, stars, bows and arrows, potions and mud pies. They have explored the forest made up stories about forest folk and climbed trees. As you can see the area is beautiful this time of year, filled with bluebells. By the end of the morning we had a group of happy tired Hedgehogs.
Friday 17th March was an exciting day in school as it was the Pro Kicks challenge. All the children in Hedgehog class went down to cheer each other on to see how fast they could kick the ball - even the adults had a turn.
Thursday 2nd March is World Book Day and in the Hedgehog class we had a full range of book characters. To see more from the day take a look at the Early Years page for w/c 27/2/17.
In our class we made the cake from "The Toys Party". The children thought it was very funny and they decided they would not like to eat the cake!!!
