English Overview
At Priory Common, we place reading for pleasure at the heart of our curriculum. We aim to develop a love of books and reading in all children.
As part of our reading curriculum we focus on key authors/genres each half term. Children are taught about these authors/genres and become familiar with key texts and characters. The table below shows our author/genre for each half term alongside the key texts for each year group.
