5th December

Year Two have been invited to watch BVS's Christmas performance.  We will be taking the children to BVS on the morning of Monday 11th December.

We need your help.

We have lots of plans to make a wide range of products with sticks.  Could we please ask that if you go on a woodland walk you collect a bag of sticks for us please.  All shapes and sizes would be very much appreciated.  Thank you in advance for helping us out with this much needed resource.

Please check the home learning tabs, on our class page, as maths challenges are now available for children to do at home.  There is also a winter half term project.

Friday 13th October

Please check book bags as letters and consent forms for the upcoming flu immunisations have been sent home. Thank you

On Thursday 28th September we are having a Year Two Pirate Day.  On this day the children can come to school dressed as a good, well-mannered pirate.  Please do not feel that you need to buy a costume; jeans and a t-shirt with a sash around the waist will be perfect (the children have all made their own hats).

On Tuesday 26th September at 4.30pm we will be holding a Year Two information evening.  This will provide you with an opportunity to hear about the forthcoming year including the Year Two curriculum and how lessons are structured.  We look forward to seeing you there.

We are starting spellings this week, so please keep any eye on the 'weekly spellings' tab.

Please Can you send in a pair of Wellington boots so that your child can take part in outdoor learning throughout the year.  These boots can be stored in school.   Thank you

As the weather is quite unpredictable this time of year could you please ensure your child brings a waterproof coat to school everyday.  Thankyou
