Focus sounds of the day: x, qu, sh

Practise saying each of these sounds – ask an adult to say them and then you repeat each one back.

Practise writing each of these sounds one at a time.

Identify which sounds you would need to make the following words: fox, six, quit, quiz, shop, shed

Write these words down once you have identified the sounds you need.

Ask your adult to send your completed work into school using your class email address.

Login using your login details and complete the activity that has been set

CVC words - Listen to the word that is said and then spell it correctly using the sounds provided.

 

There is also a worksheet related to the activity that you can complete as well.

 

MATHS

Complete the Gingerbread addition sheet. Count each set of objects and then count how many altogether. If there are any numbers that you find tricky to write you can practice them a little bit more after.

Ask your adult to send your completed work into school using your class email address.

Fairy tales – The Gingerbread Man

Use the ‘Gingerbread man’ powerpoint. Ask an adult to read the story from the powerpoint. Join in with any familiar phrases that you hear throughout the story.

Retell the story back to your adult. Can you remember the order of when things happened?
