You will need the ‘oy’ and ‘oi’ writing sheet.
Our sounds for today are ‘oy’ and ‘oi’. Before you complete the activity, say the sounds first, look at the pictures in each box and then write the words that match each picture by sounding them out each time. Once you have completed the first part of the activity, you will then need to choose 4 of the objects and put the words into an interesting sentence.
Ask your adult to send your completed work into school using your class email address.

MATHS
You will need the + and – calculation sheet from the website and a pencil today. Don’t worry if you can’t print the sheet, you can copy one calculation at a time and answer it just as you would from the white board at school.
The sheet is split into 3 sections this week. Answer all the calculations in Section 1. If you manage to complete all of these then move on to section 2 and 3 as well. Remember to think carefully about the different strategies we have been using in school. Counting on/back from the largest number.

Safer internet activity
Activity: Watch Jessie & Friends, Episode 2
· Find the Jessie & Friends cartoons at
www.thinkuknow.co.uk/parents/jessie-and-friends-videos/
· Watch Episode 2: Sharing Pictures with your child.
· Use questions to talk about the cartoon.
For example:
After finishing the quiz, talk to your child about how sometimes things that happen online can make us feel worried, scared or sad - just like Jessie, Tia and Mo in this episode. Tell them that if anything ever worries or upsets them, they can always come to you or another trusted adult for help, no matter what.
Activity: Identify a trusted adult
Ask your child to draw a picture of a grown-up who helps them and, (if they can) write the grown-ups name, all the things they do to help your child, and/or what your child admires about them.
