You will need the statistics mini-assessment booklet that you should have collected from school.

Please encourage your child to work through this booklet completely independently.  You may read the question if needed but please do not re-phrase it or provide any further support.


You may return your booklet by either dropping it off at school or emailing it.  If dropping of at school please return it in the box you collected it from, thank you.



You will need a tablet, computer or phone/iPad and the adverbs PPT and sheet. You will also need a pencil.

Watch the recap video on adverbs. You may also choose to go through yesterday’s PowerPoint again.

Underline the adverbs in the four sentences. Then you will need to use the underlined words in your own sentences. Try to make your sentences more interesting by extending them.

Then use the pictures below to help you to write your own sentences using verbs and adverbs.


Ask your adult to send your completed work into school using your class email address.

You will need the ‘Alternative spelling- ‘igh’ sheet and a pencil.

With an adult, work through these alternative spellings for the sound ‘igh’ and then fill in the gaps on the sheet.

Then choose at least 5 of the words to write in sentences.


Shared reading for 20 minutes. This can either be a school book or a chosen book from home. You may choose any book and you and your adult can share the story/non-fiction text together.


Topic: Geography

To use locational and directional language. For example: North, South, East, West, forward, backward, turn right, turn left etc.

You are going to create a map to tell the snail how to get to different places on the map.

Use simple compass directions to guide the snail to the pictures that you have drawn.
