MATHS

You will need the practical division activity sheet and the Division powerpoint. Don’t worry if you can’t print the sheet, you can copy one calculation at a time and answer it just as you would from the white board at school.

Work through the powerpoint with an adult to start learning about Division and the concept of ‘sharing equally’. Complete the calculations on each slide to support your understanding of how to share objects equally.

Use the practical division sheet provided and try to solve the calculations provided. You can choose to cut out the strawberries/apples on each picture, before sharing them equally to the plates. Alternatively as the pictures are quite small you could find objects at home to represent the strawberries/apples (maybe buttons, pasta, toys etc) and then share them equally into the right number of groups. If you wanted you could also draw the fruit onto the plates as you share it.

Ask your adult to send your completed work into school using your class email address.

TOPIC

You will need the Queen Elizabeth powerpoint and the ‘facts about Queen Elizabeth’ sheet.

Ask an adult to help you read through the powerpoint about our Queen. Try to remember as much as you can about her as you go through it.

On the worksheet provided complete both parts of the activity.

Part 1 - use the information from the powerpoint to help answer the questions about Queen Elizabeth.

Part 2 – draw a picture of Queen Elizabeth and write three facts you can remember about her. Again use the powerpoint to help you if needed.

Ask your adult to send your completed work into school using your class email address.
