ENGLISH
Hold a sentence
Miss Geyton has sent you two videos to watch and help you to write some sentences about castles and knights. Watch and listen to the video and then have a go at writing each of the sentences.
Check back at the end of each video to see if you got your sentence correct.
MATHS
You will need the missing number calculation with addition from the website to complete. Don’t worry if you can’t print the sheet, you can copy one calculation at a time and answer it just as you would from the white board at school.
For each calculation that we have given you, one of the numbers is missing. To work out what that missing number is you will need to count on in your head.
For example in the calculation ___ + 4 = 9, you will put the number 4 in your head. You then need to count forward until you reach 9. Put one finger up for each number you count on – the number of fingers you have up at the end should be the missing number for that calculation. So you would count the numbers 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 and have 5 fingers up. Your missing number = 5.
