Send your completed sheet to your class email address.

You will need your mini-assessment booklet tomorrow.  Have you collected it yet?

English:

Adverbs

You will need a tablet, computer or phone/iPad and the adverbs PPT and sheet. You will also need a pencil.

Work through the PowerPoint with an adult. Then on the worksheet, match the verb to an appropriate adverb. Then write at least 3 sentences. Then using the adverbs in the table, write at least 5 further sentences.

Ask your adult to send your completed work into school using your class email address.

Read Write Inc:

You will need the ‘Alternative spelling- ‘ee’ sheet and a pencil.

With an adult, work through these alternative spellings for the sound ‘ee’ and then fill in the gaps on the sheet.

Then choose at least 5 of the words to write in sentences.

Reading:

Read independently for 20 minutes. This can either be a school book or a chosen book from home. When you have finished, share with an adult what you have read.

Topic- PSHE:

You will need the Self-belief art sheet (there are two for you to choose from) a drawing pencil and colouring pencils or pens.

You will also need to look at the example called PSHE art.

Have a look at the example sheet. The little girl tells us about herself, the things she likes and the things that she dislikes. We would like to learn all about you today. In the blank space we would like you to use your portrait drawing skills and draw yourself. Once you have finished your portrait we would like you to tell us about yourself using the blank strips to write in. You could include things like: what you are good at and what you find tricky, why you are a good friend, what you do for fun, your favourite toy, food or colour. Then decorate and colour your background with pictures or patterns to make it look interesting.

The idea is to recognise that we all have likes and dislikes, similarities and differences and strengths and weaknesses. All of these things are what makes us special and individual.

Ask an adult to send your completed work into school using your class email address.
