Butterflies

During spring two the children have been learning all about growth and change. As part of this we studied the book the very hungry Caterpillar, and have hatched our own butterflies.

Releasing our butterflies, the children sat very still and very careful when letting the butterflies walk across their hands, this allowed us to look closely at their wings and see their beautiful patterns. Our butterflies then flew away.
