St Davids day and Pancake day

Today in Hedgehogs we celebrated both Pancake Day and St David's Day. The children enjoyed creating their funny face pancakes talking about the ingredients that they like to use, bacon was not very popular. We also played pancake phonics, seeing how many words we could read and flip. 

 

This afternoon we focused on St David's Day and the importance of this for people who are Welsh. The children created Daffodil's and red dragons. We watched a program showing children getting ready to celebrate and singing in Welsh.
