Today and hedgehogs we were comparing different kinds of animals to support our topic all around the world, the children were thinking about what animals have that suits them to their environment. Our class pet tortellini the tortoise came to join us on the carpet, the children were discussing his heat lamp whether or not he could swim and what he needs to be healthy. We decided that tortellini could not live in Antarctica, and a polar bear could not live within his environment as polar bears would not like heat lamps.
