There are many websites that have some wonderful ideas and activities for children. Some of the below sites are always free whilst others are usually paid sites who are currently opening up for free access for the duration of school closures.
www.themathsfactor.com - sign up for free. This is site created by Carol Vorderman for children aged 4-11.
www.twinkl.co.uk access the home learning hub for activities and daily ideas.
www.TTSgroup.co.uk free downloadable resource packs for different age groups. Lots of additional ideas to keep little minds and bodies busy – including playdough recipes. Even if you are unable to print this off there are lots of ideas you can take from it.
www.oxfordowl.co.uk this site is useful to help parents with phonics- there are a series of short videos to support parents and a useful section on correct pronunciation of individual sounds.
www.pancakemanor.com – this site has a lot of songs that link to our learning and also short interactive breaks – check out the ‘shake break’. The children love it and its pretty guaranteed to have them up and moving!
