IMPORTANT ADVICE REGARDING SCHOOL CLOSURES
As you are all aware, we have had to close our school temporarily in response to COVID-19. However, we will still be providing work and regular feedback to your child during this unprecedented time.
All parents should have received an email alongside the children's learning pack for the week. This email outlines the work that we expect to receive back from you for marking and/or comments.
If you have any issues accessing these, please email back to the Owls class email: owls@priory-common.milton-keynes.sch.uk or alternatively, email the office at: office@priory-common.milton-keynes.sch.uk
As part of our safeguarding procedures, we will be calling each family weekly. This is most likely to happen on a Wednesday. The calls may come through as 'No Caller ID', so if there is no answer, we may call a couple of times. Therefore, if you receive a call from a withheld number on Wednesday, it may well be the school attempting to contact you.
Finally stay safe and stay indoors where possible.
Please keep visiting this page for updates during this period
Many thanks,
Miss Green
Email that was sent out to parents on 24/03/2020:
Tuesday 24th March
This is your learning pack for the week. In your learning pack, there are 3 maths lessons related to fractions of numbers and shape. There are some accompanying powerpoints to help you with these.
Please remember that MyMaths is available to you at all times and on there are many learning challenges that we have set for you to be getting on with.
For English, we have been learning all about the Great Fire of London. As you know, Samuel Pepys was famous for writing his diary and this week, your task is to start up your Daily Diary.
For your topic activities this week:
At the end of the week, we would like you to send in a picture of your factfile of Samuel Pepys. Can you please send this back to the email by Friday 27th March. If you would like to send in a picture of your fire engine design, you may choose to. Please also send in any pictures that you take of your completed maths work.
We know that some of you may not have access to a printer, therefore you may complete the work onto plain paper and take photographs to send in of your completed work.
We will be checking and marking work over the weekend, therefore it is crucial that work is returned by Friday.
Many thanks and stay safe,
The Year Two Team
SEPTEMBER MESSAGES
On Tuesday 24th September we will be holding a KS1 information meeting in the hall. The Year One meeting will be at 4 - 4.30pm and the Year Two meeting 4.30 - 5pm. Please do come along as this will provide you with an opportunity to meet the teaching team. We will also be sharing information about what the children will be learning during the year and how you can support them at home.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
Home school link books have been sent home with every child. Please use these to pass any messages on to the class teaching team. Thank you.
Please remember to bring in your completed activity pack from the summer holidays.
Welcome to Year Two and Badgers family.
